Being brought up in a family business I have a strong hard work ethic, possess excellent business acumen and have worked from the age of 14.
I have impeccable attention to detail, a forward thinking attitude and great resourcefulness. I have great interpersonal skills in problem solving and strategic discussions within team situations.
I am someone who embraces the opportunity to propel change and get things done in new, creative and innovative ways. I can take initiative and think outside the box to look at problems differently to find new ways of doing things.

I am currently in my second year at University, studying Business Management and Economics. Outgoing, ambitious and conscientious, my medium term goal is to run my own business. Following graduation (in June 2024), I would like to join a business that will enable me to make a meaningful contribution, learn quickly and develop my commercial skills.
I was attracted to working with Onicko due to my wide variation of skills and passion for customer service and approach to sales.
The experience I have gained from industries such financial services, property development, retail and food and beverage services has meant that my understanding for individual business needs and wants is particularly expansive, and has further developed my knowledge.

She likes nothing more than sitting on your lap when your trying to work! She doesn't do much apart from snoozing on one of her bean bags or can be found on one of the sofas (I told you she was a diva).
She also like to go on walks and enjoys running through fields although not when its raining!
Its a hard life being a whippet!

Mentored Nick's (onicko) for over 10 years when i was Managing Director or the medical company he worked for, also a resident of Tideswell for the last 30 years and known Nick since he was a boy!

I am currently the manager at my fathers local, friendly, family-run pub The Horse & Jockey, set in beautiful surroundings in the village of Tideswell. I'm also doing a Bricklaying apprenticeship at Chesterfield College through my fathers other business J P Watson & Sons Ltd.
Following on from a few conversations with Nick, I approached him for some work experience at onicko. He kindly invited me to come and the join the business a day a week.
I was excited about working with Onicko as I saw it as an opportunity to due broaden my skillset, expand my knowledge to help other businesses and to develop and grow professionally.
Having working in the hospitality and construction industries, I'm keen to learn more about the many other business sectors across Derbyshire and The Peak District.
